Greetings folks.
I wanted to go for a bit of a walk and mail off some postcards. Yes, people still send postcards and I would submit, people also like to receive them. Try it some day, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the response of your recipient!
There’s a lady and her daughter that have a little bakery and she makes many different cakes and pastries. My favorite is her banana bread and muffins and her pound cake.
SO, naturally, when the official word came to me from the US State Department that Thailand has officially announced they have extended their State of Emergency thru May 31st, I *knew* it was time for pound cake.
So, another month of similar restrictions: Curfew from 10p to 4am (when I’m sleeping anyway) as well as no alcohol sales (I don’t drink) as well as closure of all malls and massage shops. OK, now you have my attention!!!
