As I paused and looked around, I started REALLY appreciating my life. Like, A LOT! This happens in my life at various times. Indeed, its probably more identifiable when I’m in a safe, happy place. On this mountain top, I had such ENORMOUS feelings of gratitude that I was clean and sober for one more day. This year, I celebrate 25 years of being clean and sober. No drugs, No Alcohol… Truly an amazing gift… and thus I explode with gratitude.
