POST Gratitude Attack, I hopped back on the motorbike and actually made it to my initial destination for the day: Nai Yang Beach (Hat Nai Yang) which is right in from of the inbound flight path for Phuket International Airport (HKT)
Its always been a cool experience for me to watch any planes really – its amazing it actually works, right!!!???
To get there, I go to enter the Sirinat National Park (some more info here: https://www.thainationalparks.com/sirinat-national-park )
So, ANOTHER win and ability to experience more of Thailand’s beauty, right next to the beach!

Phuket is REEEEALLY starting to become a VERY happy place for me. PLUS, it is one of the few places where entering the Kingdom of Thailand and Quarantining, could be a very strong option for when Gracie will come here, AND where I might return to if/when I exit Thailand to explore other parts of the world.
The good (read as: GREAT) news is that Thailand seems to be on a trajectory of “opening”. Visa exempt arrival is now (as of ~13-Dec-2020) allowed for passport holders of the 56 countries that have been able to enter this way. There is still the “14 day quarantine” requirement but there is a high likelihood that this coming week will bring the addition of 15 days to the 30 day (visa exempt) entry stamp. Allowing for 45 days in country. This 45 day “window” has been a time when “longer-term” stayers will then go to Thai Immigration and pay the 1900 THB to extend for another 30 days.
Good news seems to be in the future for MANY!
