On May 28th 1992 at 6:30pm I got lucky enough to enter a a room full of people that were happy; laughing – some quite loudly 😉 These people would help me start down a path of GARGANTUAN Success that I never dreamed was possible.
“In exchange for the bottle and a hangover, I have been given the Keys To The Kingdom.” is a quote from a book. The book along with Stadiums full of people that have had my back, and pushed me to be a better person Every Single Day since then and have literally SAVED. MY. LIFE
I get to wake up in the morning, in large part, because, “Someone passed it on to me. Someone was out there after they got clean and sober, caring about others. I need to never, ever forget that. Had they simply gone on with their lives and forgotten about people like me who were still out there using and suffering, I would not be here today. My gratitude begins with that fact. It is with that gratitude in mind that I reach out to others, especially the newcomers. I need to have them in my life. That is where my spirituality begins.
For me, spirituality comes from caring about others. I have found that the more I focus on improving the quality of the lives of others, the less I am into myself and my will. I feel a freedom and peace from within. The gifts I am beginning to receive in my life are greater than I could have ever imagined…” (this is another quote from a story book that describes my life, then and now, quite well).
I am THE Luckiest Guy In The World!
I hope when you look in the mirror at any time during your day, you can say the same thing.
I am Living the Dream and I hope you are too!!!

I got up early this morning as I really wanted to be up BEFORE the sunrise.
While,I was indeed awake, the cloud cover prevented us (i.e. all of us at the cool kids table) from seeing the sun emerge from out of the Gulf of Thailand, I was able to experience a bunch of wonderful Thai locals picking up trash in the morning on the beach. They call themselves Trash Heroes and for sure, they are keeping the beach… Their beach… Their Home!!! clean and enjoyable. I LOVE when I get the serenipidous opportunity to be an observer of such positive behavior. It fuels me to want more – to want to do more!

I had a pretty good night sleep at Zea Zide Hotel last night.
