Greetings. This is the first of the series of videos from Koh Sichang (Sichang Island). Initially, Gracie and I went there in March. I then returned in June (and you may recall some of the Live Streams I did from there) I wanted to share the videos that Gracie and I made while we were there as well as continue the series with the footage I gathered while there as a solo traveler in June. The curfew is now lifted however, International flying is NOT happening… for some time, I anticipate (i.e. hopefully, Gracie will get to come to Thailand in September… we’ll see.)
Domestic Travel in Thailand is now (as of June 2020) VERY available – BUT what are some great things to do AND what will YOU do when you get HERE?

Gracie and I woke up one Sunday morning in March and had a Fantastic trip to Koh Sichang (Sichang Island). http://kohsichang.net
Its actually VERY Easy to get there. From Bangkok you can take a taxi directly to Koh Loi (Loi Island) pier where you will catch the ferry (50 Baht/person) that takes you to Koh Sichang. The ferry ride is only about 45 minutes and in our experience always leaves on time! Alternatively you can take a Bus or Mini-Van (~120 Baht/person) ride from the “main” bus terminal in Bangkok (Ekkamai) to the Siracha bus terminal or to the “Mini-Van Area” at the Robinson’s Mall. From either drop-off point, its an 80 baht Tuk Tuk ride to the pier and Simply say to the Tuk Tuk drivers “Koh Sichang” and BLAM: Ferry ride!

Friday morning in Bangkok. First week in June here in the Land of Smiles. Things are opening: Beaches, Pools…. aaaaand the Traffic is growing in the Big Mango. The bus schedules are increasing their frequency of their routes. The BTS Skytrain is getting fuller and fuller and social distancing is getting harder and harder to accomplish.
Amidst all of this we’ve had less than 10 new cases and are still under 60 total people dead in the Kingdom of Thailand.
I love it here. I’m honored to be here. I had a gratitude attack just yesterday at noon.
