I was riding my motorbike down the road and saw “Wang Sai”. It seemed like a cool name and there is a waterfall nearby so I thought, “cool, I’ll take this side road and see where it ends”. aaaaaand PARADISE. Walking down the beach I spotted a wooden structure so had a Thai Oil massage right on the beach. The air is of course, WARM and HUMID but with the breeze, in the shade it’s what I refer to as perfect.
I had one of the best massages I’ve had in a while. The woman was very strong. Plus, the tigerbalm ALWAYS helps the tough “knot”-ish muscles in my shoulders. Thank you!!!
Next, walk back to the parking lot, I saw a beach bungalow. “Hmmmm. I bet that is expensive.. I’ll ask though”, I thought. So I won’t into the restaurant that is also the reception area a d had so e pineapple fried rice with chicken and a mango smoothie (180 baht ~$5.75 = awesome.
Then, asked to look at the Bungalow closest to the beach. Perfect for me. 700 Baht cash. DONE!!!
Booking.com tells me this is normally ~7,000 baht/night. Will, I dont necessary believe that BUT I’d bet during high season it’s probably 3,000.
I’m happy.

So, just wanted to do a quick check in and wish you the absolute BEST and hope you are living the Dream.

A good friend of mine a while ago said that he doesn’t necessarily “make mistakes” he has “Learning Moments”
Obviously its a more inviting way to label when some scenario doesn’t go the way it was planned BUT I think it also speaks to the opporunity that can and usually does present itself when I essenetially, “Make A Mistake” SO, wanted to chat about that this morning.
I had a few interesting experiences this past week. That always happens when I travel and for the most part I am grateful for all experiences; good or not so good. I hadn’t watched the news in a LONG time but chat of some events that essentially went “viral” popped up on my “feed” of recommended videos in YouTube as I was waiting at the airport for my plane to return back to Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok from Chumpon.
I had a GREAT time in Chumpon. I definitely want to go back again and for sure, go back with Gracie and explore a LOT more.
Wanted to check in with you guys and talk about my recent Learning Moment(s).

I was cruising down the road on my little motorbike (Honda Click 125i) and behind some bushes that were not trimmed very well, I spotted a sign for a Lookout Point. I don’t know about you but Too Often I drive right past these and don’t “take time out to smell the roses” as is said.
Today, I did stop and enjoyed a nice view of the Gulf of Thailand off the cost of Chumpon Province.
