I’m taking SRT# 255 from Cha-Am south about 40 KM which will take about 45 minutes . This is the Southern Line train route that runs from Thon Buri (Bangkok) to Lang Suan. The train is (was) scheduled to arrive in Cha-Am at 11:19am. As I type this, its 11:30am 😉 The “predicted arrive” is ~12:39pm, i.e. 81 minutes. If you are Thai Train person, this is an EXCELLENT website for finding the “real time” train arrival times.

While this delay was announced on the PA system a few minutes ago, the announcements at Thai train stations are only in Thai. …and I couldn’t be happier!
The Thai trains on the routes that only have 1 track in many areas are reliably not on time as they transverse their route(s). Which is TOTALLY fine with me 🙂

Google Maps tells me that about a 15 minute motorbike ride south from my condo here in Cha-Am will get me to the “SIRINDHORN INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL PARK” so, that’s where I’m headed.
There is also another cool National/Forest Park, aptly named “CHA AM FOREST PARK” that I’ll likely stop at on the way home.
Gracie and I have been there before and it was a pleasant walk with hardly any people.
According to the weather fore cast that I get on my phone, the remainder of the day will be “mostly cloudy” so the temperature is in the 80’s. So, its SPECTACULAR! …even a bit chilly for Me on the motorbike 😉

Part 10 in the Krabi, Thailand series of beach walking and exploration.
SUMMARY: I AM TAKING A BREAK FROM YOUTUBE.
There are simply other situations that I can put myself in that will add joy to my life.
I’ll likely return. I don’t know when. I’m taking a sabbatical. I don’t know how long or where that will take me.
My final thoughts from these last several days in Krabi:
* YouTube is an AMAZING platform and with it comes a lot of good and some bad. A lot of positive and some negative. The interaction with the Mature and the Juvenile, the educated and those from the school of hard knocks as well as some from the Island of Misfit Toys.
I focus on the positive and have regular Gratitude Attacks because of all that I GET to do.
I’m the luckiest guy in the world.
To get to where I got, I frequently (and sometimes no-so-frequently) review my life, my surroundings, scenarios and situations. Some might refer to this as “taking stock”… an “inventory” if you will.
THIS trip I took down to Krabi has allowed for a significant amount of reflection, introspection, exploration. Some discovery, some discarding. Many of these exercises were involuntary, certainly not scheduled.
Many of these realizations and prioritizations I’ve shared in other videos.
